We both worked for Farm Credit. We got to meet people in ag and we learned about rural life. We enjoyed learning about different aspects of farm and ranch life.

1975 intramural basketball championship for Farmhouse. John was tremendous basketball player. Later he had a dog named Chaz a doberman that scared the bejesus out of folks.

My first memory of John was his first day of School at Woodrow Wilson Grade school. The other kids put us back to back and said that John was taller than me. He put his hand on our heads and said that we were the same height.
I was kind of the fat kid that everybody made fun of. John was always very kind to me when it would have been easier to just ignore me.
We always said hi to each other when we passed in the halls at Richwoods. I will always remember his kind and humble nature.
My sincere condolences to his Family and Friends. He walked the walk. I am honored to have known him.
Bill Kutz,
Meta Missouri.
