John Anthony Klish, 90, originally of Luzerne County, and a current resident at Ecumenical Retirement Community, Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill. He was the son of the late John and Mary (Bokas) Klish, born on July 10, 1932 in Edwardsville.
John would spend his working career with PA Department of Transportation (PennDot), where he was employed as a draftsman at the Harrisburg office.
Though he was not close with his family, John leaves behind a very special friend and caretaker, and a niece and her family who truly brightened his life.
Services will be private and held in his church, St. Patrick Cathedral, Harrisburg. John’s final resting place will be alongside his parents in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Courtdale.
