John C Knoll

John C. Knoll, 76, of Wernersville, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at home. He was the husband of Gretchen E. (Sheetz) Knoll, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage on June 20th.
John, a son of the late Robert S. and Anna (Meyer) Knoll, was born in Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer D., wife of Keith Hock, and Elizabeth A. Martin, wife of Stephen Boback; a brother, Dr. Andrew H. Knoll, husband of Marsha; and four grandchildren, Kelly, Matthew, Annie, and Grace.
He was a 1966 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, a 1970 graduate of Penn State University, and received his Master's from Miami University, OH in 1977. He retired from Procter and Gamble in 2004, having been a Sales Manager since 1977.
He was a US Navy Veteran, having served as an officer from 1970-1977, and was a member of St. John's (Hain's) UCC.
John was born and raised in Wernersville, PA. His naval and business careers took him to California, Ohio, Illinois, and Massachusetts. Upon retirement he spent winters in Naples, FL. He returned to PA in August of 2024.
John played the trumpet in the Penn State Blue Band, and was a member of the Heidelberg Polka Band. He enjoyed playing golf and was a Penn State Football Fan.
Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 25th, at St. John's (Hain's) UCC, 591 N. Church Road, Wernersville. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-4:00 PM, Saturday, at the church. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W.
