Joseph, a son of the late Joseph A. and Mary (Lynn) Abbonizio, was born in Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Daniel Abbonizio, husband of Megan; a daughter, Karen M., wife of Andrew Bradbury; and three grandchildren, Vincent J. Abbonizio, Caroline M. Abbonizio, and Alyssa N. Blatt.
He was a US Navy Veteran, having served during Vietnam.
He was a 1968 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and a 1973 graduate of Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science.
A service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, Oct 4th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 AM- 10:30 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com
