John Krzysiak Obituary

John was born in Detroit to the late Joseph Krzysiak and Angeline Lew. After graduating from Pershing High, he joined the Army and married his high school sweetheart, Judy. He then spent his career as a publisher for a mechanical design magazine. In retirement, John loved to cook and chat with whoever crossed his path in life (especially if it was about his Polish heritage or Michigan football). Both of which led him to put together a family cookbook and create a monthly community newsletter "ChitChat". He was loved by many and everyone who knew John felt his big heart and giving nature.
John was preceded in death by his son Kenneth, both parents, brother Joe and sister Nancy. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 62 years Judy, his children Brad (Liz) Krzysiak and Beth (Todd) Watkins, his grandchildren Devin, Emily, Sam, Audrey, and Jon who all affectionately called him Jaja. He is also survived by his sister Marilyn Kowalski, his brother Nick (Penny) Krzysiak, and many nieces and nephews.

John was an outstanding individual, I advertised with him for the very first time several years ago, he helped me launch advertising in my coffee business. I just found out about his passing. John you're a wonderful man in the Lord, you're home now. Do we meet again my friend God bless you. And don't forget to keep the presses running!

What a great guy! He gave me my first opportunity to break into the publishing world in the basement of his house in Tanglewood with Judy and of course Boo the black lab. I´ve often thought about John wondering what he was up too. I´m sure he and my Uncle Fred Rogers from Huebcore are enjoying happy hours daily laughing and figuring out the next greatest ad campaign for designfax and medical equipment designer. I´m very sorry for his family and friends but it puts a smile on my face that he´s amongst friendly faces. Much love!

So sorry to hear of John´s passing. He was a wonderful human being. Was a mentor to me early in in publishing. Many fond memories of John.
