John "Jack" Lehnhoff

John 'Jack' Lehnhoff, 74, passed away in Dover, DE. He was the third of four boys born in NJ to Arnold and Mary (Drobach) Lehnhoff. He lived most of his life in Kenilworth, attending St. Theresa School and David Brearly High School from where he graduated.
Jack had been a parishioner at The Church of St. Theresa in Kenilworth and since moving, at Church of the Holy Cross in Dover.
He was employed in the towing business for many years and later as a security alarm system specialist. Following retirement, he became a valued staff member at Dover Motor Speedway working there for the past seven years.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Isabel, with whom he shared 24 years. He has a brother, James, and also leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as countless devoted friends. He was predeceased by two beloved brothers, Arnold and Robert.
Jack and Isabel enjoyed an active social life in their community and Jack was always a willing volunteer for different events. He was an avid bowler for decades. His interest in cars was evident in his participation in the DelMarVa POCI and RRRCLC. As a car enthusiast, he often helped others with their automotive projects.
The Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Rt.27), Metuchen. The funeral service will be on Monday, February 10, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery, 52 Lincoln Avenue, Metuchen.
