It is with great sadness that the family of John Robert Lewis II “Lil’ John” announces his sudden passing at the age of 42.
John was born August 11, 1985, in Norman, Oklahoma, and departed this world on March 22, 2025, in Nashville, TN. He moved to Nashville at the age of 4 and attended schools in Bellevue, Donelson, Lebanon, and Kingston Springs.
John always felt most comfortable in nature, whether swimming, canoeing down the Harpeth River, fishing, deer hunting, or relaxing on a beach in Florida. He also enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his children, whom he loved deeply. Family was the most important thing in his life. His family will miss him beyond measure as he takes with him a piece of their hearts forever.
John is survived and will be remembered by his son John Ryan, his daughter Kenadie Renee, his mother Sharon Roberts (Jeff Roberts)of Lebanon, TN, his father John Lewis (Kathy Thompson) of Ashland City, TN, his sisters Amie Lewis-King (Julian King), Abby Davidson (Kevin Davidson), Crystal Wood (William Wood) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
John was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Tina Burton and Coy Burton of Oklahoma, his Paternal grandparents, Jean and Jerry Lewis of Oklahoma, his sister Lacey Lewis of Tennessee, Aunt Jeanie Lewis, Uncle Pat Burton, and Uncle Joe Lewis.
Visitation with the Family will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10 AM - 1 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Deacon Steve Lewis, immediately following at 1 PM, at Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City, TN 37015
