John Lippert Obituary
John Henry Lippert, age 73, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at Golden Age Living Center, Stover, Missouri. He was born August 8, 1950 in Canton, Illinois, a son of Delbert M. Lippert and Illa Lee (Siltman) Helensmith.
John worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois as a machine repairman. He retired after thirty-four years of service. He served his country proudly in the Air National Guard. He was a great pool player and enjoyed playing when he could.
Survivors include his brothers, Alan Lippert and wife Pam of Cape Coral, Florida, Bill Helensmith of Gravois Mills, Missouri and Robert Lippert and wife Ruth of Havana, Illinois; his sisters, Cathy Jones and husband Steve of Lincoln, Illinois and Becky Anderson of Blue Eye, Missouri; his step-mother, Betty Lippert of Havana, Illinois and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Lippert and Illa Helensmith.
At John's request, his body was donated to the University of Missouri for the advancement of science. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Golden Age Living Center.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.

John was a great friend, lots of good memories of him. Riding mules with me in Eminemce Mo , going for wings at Babes in Havana and the pontoon boat trips ... so many great memories....
