John A. MacDuff, 59 of Ewing died on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Capital Health Systems at Hopewell surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rochester, NY, he resided in Portland, Maine before moving to Princeton and later to Ewing. John retired in 2018 as a laborer from Laborers Union Local 50, Princeton. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 414, where he was started an Informal Bocce League. John was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved boating. John loved life and talking to people about almost everything. He was a generous person and helped anyone that he could.
Son of the late Richard A. and Eva Bernice (Cribby) MacDuff, brother of the late Frances Beck, he is survived by his wife of 35 years Carla (DiMeglio) MacDuff, a daughter Eva MacDuff, a son James MacDuff, sister Maggie Kirk and her husband Tom, brother Scott MacDuff and his wife Anna, Twin Brother James MacDuff and his wife Patty, sister Cynthia Mroczek, Sisters in law and Brothers in law Brunella and Jeff Honold, Maria DiMeglio and her husband Steve O'Connor and several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
The Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. The repast and celebration of life will follow at the American Legion Post 414 100 Berwyn Place Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
