John P. Manoes, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 71, in Keansburg, where he had made his home as a life-long resident. Born on October 6, 1954, in Manhattan, New York, John was a man of deep roots and strong bonds, cherished by those who knew him for his kind spirit and generous heart.

John's was brought into the world by his loving parents, John and Thelma Manoes. He grew up alongside his siblings, forming unbreakable ties that would last a lifetime. Although he was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Patricia Koutouvalas, John's memory will be held in high regard by his surviving family members. His brothers, William Manoes of Hazlet and George and Dot Manoes of Keansburg, and his sisters, Donna Finnen of Hazlet, Tina Manoes of Keansburg, and Jackie and Michael Pigott of Keansburg, will forever remember the joy he brought into their lives. His many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew, cousins, and extended family members will also cherish the times they spent with Uncle John.

John's professional life was as dedicated and community-oriented as he was. He served the Bayshore Regional Sewage Authority in plant operations. His commitment to his hometown was further reflected in his time spent as a delivery driver for Keansburg Drugs and Camerons Florist, where he became a familiar and welcome face to many. John's work ethic and friendly demeanor made him not just an employee but a valued member of the local business community.

John had a passion for the outdoors, particularly for riding his bike. His love for cycling was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with the world around him. The roads of Keansburg and beyond were his sanctuary, where he found peace and joy. John was known by most for his love of scratch off's and the guy who always had a tooth pick in his mouth.

As we say goodbye to John P. Manoes, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless ways in which he enriched our lives. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love we continue to carry in our hearts. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 10:00AM. St Ann's Church, Keansburg.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
