John Marszalek Obituary

During his high school career at St. Phillip High School, John was one of the leading baseball hitters in the Chicago Catholic league. Graduating high school at just sixteen years of age, he continued his baseball career at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. John's stellar hitting career continued while at Rollins College and after graduating he turned to the law. While working as an attorney, he met his wife, Terry, and they married in 1985. John was an accomplished attorney and spent the majority of his career working alongside his brother at Marszalek & Marszalek, where he was a devoted advocate for the injured and took dozens of cases to verdict during his forty-nine year legal career. Outside of the courtroom, he was passionate about horseracing and some of the family's fondest memories with John include going to his box at Arlington Racetrack.
Visitation Thursday, September 25th at 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 10134 S. Longwood Ave. Chicago.
Interment St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago.

John as a great friend, team mate and Fraternity brother but most of a great guy who'd do anything for a friend. Sally and I offer our sincere condolences to his family. RIP
