John James Mazzetti

John James Mazzetti, born on April 5, 1936 in Haverstraw, NY, passed away on August 20, 2024. John was a true man of the Lord and lived courageously by the word of God. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who raised his children and grandchildren to always work hard and to stay true to their morals. Being outdoors and spending time hiking in the North Carolina mountains were some of his favorite things to do. A great joy in his life was helping others as often as he could. He worked as an Arborist for the city of Charlotte and helped the city during storms such as Hurricane Hugo. There was never a person John met that was not left with a lasting impact from his humble and wholesome demeanor. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Lee Mazzetti and his daughter Nancy Kristie Mazzetti (Scott). He is survived by his four children; Sherry Mazzetti,John Mazzetti (Shari),, Timmothy Mazzetti, Rebekah Mazzetti, his seven grandchildren; Brittany, Brooke, Sara, Brandy, Alisha, Courtney, Elijah, and 23 great-grandchildren.
