John McCaskill Obituary
John Randall McCaskill, age 74 of Mobile, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 27th 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Flomaton, Alabama on August 11th, 1949 to Harry McCaskill Sr. and Vernell Bryan McCaskill. Siblings are Martha McCaskill Kent, Ronnie McCaskill, Harry McCaskill Jr, and Belinda McCaskill Brantley.
John played football for Murphy High School and attended Pensacola Jr College.
He married Sharon Wright McCaskill of Bay Minette, Alabama.
John retired from Alcoa Aluminum and began his own business, McCaskill Machinery Heavy Equipment Sales.
John's favorite pastime was fishing in his boat, watching Alabama football with friends and spending time with his family. He was a long-time active member of Dayspring Church.
John was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Randall Allen McCaskill.
John is survived by his wife, Sharon Wright McCaskill, his son, Steve McCaskill, and his daughter, Amy McCaskill Anderson. John is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Allie Anderson Tims, Lanna McCaskill, Donnie (DJ) McCaskill and great grandchildren Elena Tims and Evelyn Johnson and his beloved dog Gracie. Visitation will be at Dayspring Baptist church 2200 Cody Rd. Mobile, AL, Monday March 4th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Followed by burial at Mobile Memorial Gardens , 6100 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL
