WEST BOYLSTON: John J. McHugh, Jr., 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in his home, after a period of declining health.
He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin (McHugh) Little and her husband, Richard, and granddaughter, Carolyn of West Boylston.
John was born in Boston, and raised in Natick, son of the late John J. McHugh & Ann V. (Tobin) McHugh. He graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural School and then began working on the family farm with his parents. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and being a farmer. He was also the life of every party.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026 in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 990 LaGrange St., West Roxbury, MA; with a gathering to follow at 12pm at Conrad's Restaurant 728 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062.
