John J. McInchak, age 84, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
He was born in Warren, OH on January 9, 1939, a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Schneider McInchak.
John was an avid sportsman with a passion to shoot skeet and always ready to fuss over his four-legged friends, which he loved. He always looked to put a smile on everyone's face that he met.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice G. Barron Staszewski McInchak, a daughter, Tracy Duke, a sister, Geraldine Carey and a brother, Gary McInchak.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Tebalt and Sandra Staaf (Scott) and a son, Steven McInchak (Denise), three grandchildren, Jamie Duke, Joshua Staaf and Kyla Presto and five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dakota and Noah Duke and Faith and Hope Price and two brothers, Thomas McInchak (Pat) and Michael McInchak (Amy).
Friends may call on Sunday at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc from 1 pm to 5 pm and are invited to a service there on Monday at 9:15 am followed by the Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 am. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Erie Humane Society.
