John Michael McNeir-Clark

J. Michael McNeir-Clark has left this world to go to another. He was born in Morristown, TN, on September 2, 1953, to the late John Edward Clark and the late Betty Monroe.
He was a husband and dog lover. He was a teacher, theologian and a writer of ten books and many periodicals. Michael graduated from Emory University with a double Masters Degree. He was almost ordained in the Methodist Church and was in many associations, such as the American Academy and many more. Michael was a very proud gay man and a long-term HIV survivor. He was a fierce lover of life and the natural world.
Michael is survived by his husband, Bob McNeir-Clark; his 5 dogs; his sister and brother-in-law, Patty and David Shaw; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Teresa Clark and a cousin, Beth Sells.
He is to be cremated and his ashes to be placed with Bob. A memorial service will be held a later date.
Michael will be missed by Bob and many others.
