John C. Meloni

John C. Meloni, age 76, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Celebration Villa in Reedsville. He was born in Lewistown on May 20, 1949, to the late John B. Meloni and Marie C. (Ross) Meloni. He married Pama Beth Knepp in 1972, who preceded him in death on December 11, 2020. A son, Joseph (Joey) Meloni, preceded both of them in death on June 14, 1984. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Meloni and wife Rachel Donahue, of Washington DC. Also surviving is his sister Carolyn Ruble; nieces Deanna Hassinger, Elizabeth (Betsy) Cox and wife Jess, Amy Knepp, Beka Yoder and husband Keith, Jena Knepp, Abby Peachey and husband Ian; and nephew, David Ruble along with all their families. He was a 1967 graduate of Lewistown-Granville High School, and longtime owner and operator of Meloni Trucking. John lived for his wife and children, making sure they had everything they ever wanted, and instilled in them that same sense of generosity. Special thanks to all of his caregivers after the death of his wife in 2020. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Juniata Memorial Cemetery.
