Born on November 17, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Barbara was the cherished daughter of the late Alex and Doreen Meloni. She was the beloved sister of Joyce (John) Hansen and Doris (Joe) Taulane, and a devoted aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her deeply.
Barbara had a gentle spirit and a heart full of grace. She found joy in the simple things and lived her life as a true gift from God. A faithful Christian, Barbara loved Jesus with all her heart. She was active in her church community, regularly attending services and Bible study, and found great comfort in singing hymns, reading scripture, and doing crafts.
Her sisters were not only her siblings but her closest friends and lifelong caregivers. In her later years, Barbara made her home in Florida, where she was lovingly cared for by her nieces and nephews, who made her feel cherished every day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph's Chapel Mausoleum, 240 Lower Landing Road, Chews Landing, NJ 08012.
