I only knew John a few years through CRMIC. He was always willing to teach others or share his sources of knowledge, offering wise counsel to the club or to individual members as needed. That´s a great photo of him - smiling or finding humor in something. Offering my condolences to his family during this sad time.

Dear David and Tracy,
What good memories we have of you, your mother and father during our many hours of Suzuki practice and performing. We are unable to be there with you during this sad time. Sending light and love. Mary and Michael Herr

I delivered meals to John last year through the Meals on Wheels program. He was one of my favorite clients - always smiling and appreciative of the meal delivery. He talked alot about his love of Civil War history, how much he missed his wife, and how proud he was of his children who would visit him from the Chicago area. I miss his smile and his talks about his life. May his family know that he was such a kind person in the short time I knew him.
