John Mendoza, of Pontiac, January 18, 2025 at 57 years of age. Devoted husband and companion of Teresa Ann for 14 years. Beloved son of the late Guadalupe and the late Maria Mendoza. Loving brother of the late Manuel Mendoza, the late Mario (Sonia) Mendoza, Guadalupe (Dorothy) Mendoza Jr, the late Miguel (Susana) Mendoza, Marcos (Debra) Mendoza, Elizabeth (John) Mausolf, the late Joseph Angel Mendoza, Rudolpho (Lynette) Mendoza, Mary (Thomas) Patch and the late Victor Manuel Mendoza.
John was also the very proud uncle of many nieces and nephews, often bragging about their accomplishments and proudly displaying photos of them all around his home.
John had a huge passion for Motown music and would often be seen jamming to those old Time Magazine music videos. He never said no to a dance and he had no problem holding his own when he was on the floor.
Known for his kindness and generosity. John never hesitated to lend a helping hand or give to others. But his favorite was calling bingo at the Personal Growth Center in Sandusky, Michigan. Where he built great friendships and lasting memories.
John was also a proud donor and will have a lasting, and life saving impact on others lives. Solidifying his commitment of selflessness and compassion for others.
John's laughter and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched. And that we will one day meet again at the gates of heaven.
