John Morris Obituary
John was a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy in 1965 and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Florida A & M University. He shared his knowledge while being gainfully employed at General Electric Corporation and Verizon Communications. After retirement he returned home to Fort Pierce, Florida.
John has been a lifetime member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. After retirement and returning to Fort Pierce, he served as a faithful member of the Inspirational Choir, Men's Choir, and a Trustee Board member at St. Paul AME Church.
On Thursday, November 30, 2023, John passed away while in the care of HCA Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife: Gwen; daughters: Dawn and Tameka; granddaughter: Natia; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
The Funeral Service will be live streamed on our website: (John Morris Funeral Service) at the service time of 10:00 am.
