Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stone Brothers Funeral Home - Fort Pierce on Oct. 20, 2025.
On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Pastor Linda Fay Rowe-loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and devoted servant of God-peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord at the age of 73 in
Fort Pierce, Florida.
Linda was born on March 30, 1952, in
Fort Pierce, Florida, just three minutes after her beloved twin sister, Brenda, to parents Scott and Evelyn Rowe. The inseparable duo affectionately called each other "Brendee" and "Lindee," and were known for their matching outfits, unique style, and unbreakable bond. To know them was to know that if you did for one, you did for the other.
Linda attended Frances K. Sweet Elementary and graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in 1970. She later pursued college courses at Broward Community College. Throughout her life, she held various professional roles, including positions with the St. Lucie County School Board, Rent a Center and AT&T. Alongside her twin, she co-owned and operated Twins Tax Services, preparing tax returns, and Beauty by Twins, decorating churches and events with flair and grace.
In 1999, she began working with Regal Systems/DBA Chlorinators, Inc., where she served faithfully until her retirement in 2023. Though her title was Receptionist, she wore many hats with professionalism, warmth, and her signature smile-bringing joy and efficiency to everyone she worked with. Known as a "jack of all trades," Linda enjoyed everything from clerical work and decorating to yardwork and fixing small appliances. Her famous Red Velvet Cake was unmatched, and though she shared the recipe generously, no one could quite recreate the magic.
Spiritually, Linda was a pillar of faith and dedication. She was the first of her siblings to be baptized in the Holy Ghost, beginning a lifetime of service to God. At The Apostolic Church of Jesus, she served in many roles: senior choir member, church secretary, junior choir director, Sunday School teacher, church van driver, beautification committee member, missionary, youth mentor, and enthusiastic fundraiser. In 2010, she joined Apostolic Crossroad Church of Jesus, where she answered the call to lead and serve as Pastor until she was called home. Her favorite songs, "Build Me a Cabin" and "Better Days," reflected her faith and hope in Christ.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Evelyn Rowe; her twin sister, Brenda Rowe Robinson; sisters Evelyn Pearline Thurston and Janifer Rowe; brothers Scottie Lee Rowe and Alphonso Rowe; and nephews Terry Simmons, Charles Thurston Jr., and Myron Montgomery.
She leaves behind a loving and devoted family: Sons: Patrick Curtis (Nedra) Rowe and Elfred "Al" Miller Daughter: Kimberly "Kimmie" Miller Sisters: Zadie Rowe Rosson and Patricia (Manton) Maple Brother: Jesse Bernard "BB" Rowe Grandchildren: Ta'keyah Rowe, Aaliyah Miller, Ta'mya Miller, Jadon Rowe, Jerin Rowe, Elijah Miller, and My'liyah Miller Great-grandchildren: Avery Sirmons, Genesis Cole, twins Alijah and Alaysia Miller, Kameron Surrin, and Amir Adger Nieces and Nephews: Evelyn Cole, Andre Thurston, Roger Robinson Jr., Scottie Montgomery, Jesse Fields III God-daughter: Letrecial Jones, along with a host of extended family, church family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pastor Linda Fay Rowe's life was a testament to love, faith, service, and resilience. She was a woman who gave selflessly, loved deeply, and live joyfully. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
