John M. Mroczka, 65, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family March 5, 2026. He was born April 9, 1960, in Cleveland, OH to the late Casimer and Martha (nee Florcosky) Mroczka. John worked in shipping and receiving at both Demag Cranes in Solon and MTD in Valley City. He had a special love for cooking and was always making meals for the family. John enjoyed listening to polka music and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

John is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy (nee Cannon) Mroczka, sons Eric (Ashley) & David (Harleigh-fiance) Mroczka, grandchildren Casimer, Luca, and David Jr., and brother Gary. He is preceded in death by his brothers Allen and Daniel.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4-8 pm at Waite Funeral Homes, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his memory to your local animal shelter or Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice, 18659 Drake Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136.
