John Edward Mroczkowski

John Edward Mroczkowski, known fondly to all as John, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on March 23, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, John's life was a testament to his kindness, generosity, and loving nature.
John was preceded in death by his caring parents, Susan and Harry Mroczkowski, and his brother, Jerome Charles Mroczkowski. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his beloved family, including Teresa Sass, Diana Long and her husband Edward, Sandra Banfield, James E. McNeely Jr., Stephanie Aikens and her husband Anthony, Sarah Mata and her husband RJ, Belinda Hernandez, Amy Hernandez, Kimberly Barton, and Melissa Garcia. Each of these individuals were blessed to experience the fullness of John's love and dedication.
An accomplished individual, John pursued a rigorous education, culminating in a Doctorate in Pharmacy. His professional life was marked by a deep commitment to his vocation. As a retired pharmacist, John's legacy is found in the countless patients he cared for with precision and empathy. His contributions to the field were not limited to his work behind the counter; he was also actively involved in various professional associations, where he was respected for his expertise and collaborative spirit.
Outside of his professional life, John found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. His love for animals extended to feeding the local birds and cats, an act that reflected his compassionate soul. John's heart held a special place for Corpus Christi, a city he adored for its coastal charm.
John was a loyal friend, the kind of person who was always there when you needed him most. His presence was a source of comfort, stability, and generosity. His absence will be deeply felt, but the memory of his giving spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
