John Michael Myers

John Michael Myers, age 66, of Marysville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at home.
On March 18, 1957, John was born in Urbana, Ohio, the youngest of seven children of the late Fred Donovan Myers and Mary Katherine (Bush) Myers. He was raised in Urbana, and graduated from Triad High School in 1975.
From as far back as he could remember, John had a lifelong love for muscle cars from the 1960's and 1970's. He was a self-taught auto body mechanic, who owned and operated his own Classic Body Works shop in Marysville, where he restored classic cars. For many years, he had his own muscle car, his beloved 68' Camaro. In his younger days, he also loved riding motorcycles, living for the thrill on his Ducati Motorcycle. He also has been scrapping metal for the past 10 plus years.
Whenever John wasn't tinkering on cars in his garage, he would try and find some body of water to cast a line in. He loved to go fishing, anywhere and everywhere, and especially cherished when he had his family with him. He even had a boat in his younger days, always trying to find the best spot to catch some fish.
Very faithful, John has been a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Marysville since 2010.
Despite battling his health for twenty plus years, John always had an upbeat, jovial and positive spirit, and was able to find the silver lining in everything.
John is survived by his three children: Amanda (Isaac), Jeremy (Kristi), and Ben (Allie), 7 grandchildren, his wife, Annie (Hall) Myers; four of his brothers, Dennis, Fred, Rick and Tim; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, John was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim and Jerry Myers.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 26 at 10:00 a.m., at the Bible Baptist Church, 16435 Square Dr, Marysville.
