John Nelson Obituary
John attended Medford area schools and was a graduate of the Medford High School. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing and gardening, loved a good bonfire, and grilling on the Big Green Egg. He had a love for music and concerts and was a talented tie-dye artist, making anything tie-dyed. His greatest joy was being a dad to Draven and Dexter. "There Are No Strangers Here; Only Friends You Haven't Yet Met" was a quote he lived by. John was generous with his time and would help anyone in need.
Survivors include his children, Draven and Dexter; his parents, Bradley Isaacson and Judith Nelson; his brother, Dalton (Paige) Isaacson; and his grandmother, Muriel Isaacson. John is further survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Lorraine Nelson; and his paternal grandfather, Ronald Isaacson.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Chelsea Conservation Club in Medford, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In memory of John, tie-dyed apparel is encouraged. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to John's sons. Inurnment will be held at the Chelsea Cemetery at a later date. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory of Tomahawk is assisting the family.
