John Nipper Obituary

John W. Nipper, 88, of Hummelstown, formerly of Middletown, and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, entered his eternal home on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN.

John enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and baking for the family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Margaret; his daughter, Pamela Collins of Wilmington, DE; his son, John H. Nipper of Harrisburg; his granddaughters, Stephanie (Greg) Hale of TN, Fawn Bennett of Middletown, PA, and Jasmine (Jeremiah) Bohn of Johnstown, PA; his great-grandchildren, Amaya, Sean, and Aubreigh Bennett, Ben and Luke Hale; his brother, Paul Nipper of TN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Nipper; his parents, Roy and Delia Nipper; his brothers, Bud, Thomas, Billy, Alford, Jimmy, and George Nipper; and his sisters, Dorothy Sisson, Frances Rader, Elizabeth McDonald, Connie Black, and Pat Burks.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, 11AM at Grace Point Church, 740 Leon Ave, Palmyra, PA. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the church from 10AM-11AM.
