Of Cheektowaga, at age 83. Beloved husband of Mildred F. (nee Fox) Noworyta; devoted father of John J. (Elisabeth Halvorsen) Noworyta and the late Amy Noworyta; loving grandfather of John and Jacob Noworyta; dear brother of Celine (late John) Beazley, Paul Noworyta and the late Christine (John) Carey; also survived by nieces and nephews. John retired from the USPS, was a Vietnam War Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #63, Lackawanna. The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 28th, from 8:30 AM -9:30 AM at the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1024 French Rd. where prayers will be offered at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.

I Had the pleasure of working with John at the Lackawanna post office. He was the walking definition of a true Gentleman. Always professional. His mere presence drew respect and admiration. God Bless you John, and my deepest condolences to your family.
