John Palmer Obituary
Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Carriere Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Danny Roy Johnson will officiate the service.
A native of Carriere, MS, he was a retired Truck Driver and a member of West Union Baptist Church. John enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Travis Palmer and Nellie O. Stockstill Palmer; son, John T. (Lori) Palmer, Jr.; sisters, Marie Seal and Ruth Gray; granddaughter, Mary Palmer; and great granddaughter, Madelyn Miller.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 71 years, Kaye Frances Sones Palmer; daughter, Debbie K. (Milton) Jarrell; sister, Sherra Nell Smith; grandchildren, Nicky (Kesha) Jarrell, Casey Palmer, and Travis Palmer; great grandchildren, Macy (Mason). Camryn, PJ, Reece, Sam, Slayden (Shelby), Kiera, Courtland, and Kasen; great great grandchildren, Bennett, Wesson, Malaya, Saraya, and Mallorie.
