John William Pence

John William Pence, age 39, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Health Care Good Samaritan in Lexington, KY. He was born September 13, 1985, in Richmond, KY to Billy Joe and Diana Jean Ratliff Pence. John loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling, and playing cornhole with friends. He was of the holiness faith and enjoyed attending services with his family at Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church.
John was preceded in death by his wife Amanda Renea Lamb Pence.
In addition to his parents, he was survived by one brother James Russell Pence and his wife Brittany of East Bernstadt, KY, two nephews D.J. Pence, Isaiah Pence and one niece, Emery Pence. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive.
Visitation will be 6:00PM – 9:00PM Tuesday at Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday at the church with Rev. Mark Adams and Rev. Achee Eads officiating. Burial will follow in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Ratliff, Mike Banks, Nate Eads, Jeff Saylor, Josh Long, and Benny Long. Honorary Pallbearers are John's uncles.
