John J. Piller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John J. Piller, born on March 29, 1950, in Austria, to the late Rose and Josip Piller. John, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend peacefully departed from this world on April 8, 2024.
John will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Adam Piller (Collin) and John "Johnny" Piller (Kristen), his cherished grandson Johnny, his brothers, Tony Piller and Steve Piller (Rebecca), and his aunt, Staza Jerinic (Hrvoje). John was preceded in death by his loving daughter Becky Piller, his sister Mary Hakes, his uncle Jozo Boskovic, and his aunts Janja Brazdicic and Christine "Boja" Vidmar. He was also the former spouse and friend of Debra Piller and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A dedicated professional, John worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Morrison Products for 51 years before his well-deserved retirement. However, his true passion lay in his family, and he found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. John enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and boating, was a devoted Cleveland sports fan, particularly supporting the Browns, and had a talent for fixing things with his hands.
John was known for his kindness, love, and patience, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a deep appreciation for movies and books, and his emotional intelligence allowed him to be in touch with his feelings and those of others.
While the pain of John's loss is profound, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Friends and family to gather on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 2pm till 6pm a funeral service will be held at 6pm also at the funeral home. Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake.
