John Pinter, age 41, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born November 26, 1984 to Tom and Abby Pinter in Trenton, New Jersey.
John is survived by his wife, Chelsea Pinter of Jasper; sons, Luca Pinter of Jasper, Logan Pinter of Jasper, Jonathan Pinter of Jasper, Blane Mills of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; parents, Tom and Abby Pinter of Pinehurst, North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Alan Green of Dunblane, Scotland; sister Maggie Harner of Pinehurst, North Carolina; brother, Stephen Pinter of Southern Pines, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Henry James and Azalea Pinter of Jacksonville, North Carolina; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Katelyn and Nathan Weaver of Jasper; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Laura and Brett Craig of Freeport, Florida. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members also survive.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Henry A. and Marie G. Bahr; paternal grandfather, Hank Pinter; and father-in-law, David Jones.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
