With deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate Kimberly Ann Pinter, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 57.

Kim was born on February 25, 1968, in Amarillo, Texas, to William Robert Bundy and Pauline Bundy. From the very beginning, Kim lived with purpose, grit, and an unmatched devotion to loving and helping others.

Kim was the most badass single mother there ever was. She was fiercely devoted to her family and poured her heart into raising her children while also building a life rooted in independence, determination, and service. She was the proud mother of Alyson Morgan, Tiffani Morgan, Tristan Pinter, Christopher Pinter, and her adopted daughter Heather Pinter.

Before entering nursing, Kim was an independent consultant for Surprise Parties and became the Texas Regional Manager; she was a top seller and leader within the company, winning several awards; proving early on that she was driven, capable, and unapologetically strong. In 2009, she returned to school to pursue her nursing degree, earning her BSN, and in 2013, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

In 2013, Kim became a nursing instructor, a role she held for 10 years, shaping, challenging, and inspiring future “baby nurses.” She was known for being tough, but deeply encouraging, and her impact lives on through the many nurses she taught. In a beautiful full-circle moment, several of those nurses later had the honor of caring for Kim in her final days.

After teaching, Kim continued her life’s mission of service through Hospice work and later returned to Northwest Texas Healthcare System (NWTH) as a registered nurse, working in acute rehabilitation and cardiology units, where her compassion, skill, and heart for patients were evident every day.

You could never talk about Kim without talking about her favorite role of all, Mimi. Her granddaughters, Mackinzli and Sarina, were the absolute loves of her life. Being their Mimi brought her immeasurable joy, pride, and purpose.

Kim was preceded in death by her beloved father, William Robert Bundy; her aunt, Annemarie Durbin; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Alice Bundy; her maternal grandmother, Mary Durbin; and her paternal uncles, Chuck Durbin and Clifford Durbin.

She is survived by her mother Pauline Bundy; daughter Alyson Morgan and significant other Stephen Leonard; daughter Tiffani Morgan, her step-children Miranda and Jordan Pryor and grandchildren Narissa Camacho and Gabriell O’Con; son Tristan Pinter and significant other Kali; son Christopher Pinter; daughter Heather Pinter and her grandbabies Mackinzli and Sarina Pinter; brother Kevin Bundy and wife Lori Bundy, her nieces Brooklyn and Bentleigh Bundy and their mother Crystal Bundy; niece, Devlin Reynolds and husband Ted Miller; her aunt JoAnne Reid and family and Aunt Judy and family; her uncle Tim Bundy and wife Penny Bundy; her aunt Mary Alice and family; her uncle Carl and family, uncle Carrol and family, and Uncle Tim and family; many beloved cousins; and her two best friends, Jennifer Johnson and Sherry Fraley, and their families.

Kim’s legacy is one of strength, perseverance, unconditional love, and service to others. She lived boldly, loved fiercely, and left an undeniable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 1:00 pm, where friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor a woman who gave so much of herself to the world. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Though our hearts are broken, Kim’s love, spirit, and strength live on—through her children, her grandchildren, her fellow nurses, her students, and every life she touched.
