John Howard Polzin

POLZIN, John Howard – of Burt, age 62, died Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
John was born August 10, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late James and Naomi (Marcum) Polzin. He grew up in Chesaning, Michigan and graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1981. John proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for Hemlock Semiconductor and GM in the skilled trades. John loved working on his 78 Camaro, building motorcycles, and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed restoring things back to their original condition. John liked to sing and sang several times at the Chesaning Showboat. However, his greatest joy in life was his daughter Casey.
Surviving are: Daughter, Casey (Avery) Daniels; Grandchildren, Zoie, Makylah; Sisters, Moncia Bauer, Kathy Polzin, Mary Kay Bakker; Aunt, Joan Polzin; Nephews, Dean Polzin, Daniel Polzin, Zach Bauer, Conor Vellenga, Max Wesley, Mitch Wesley; Niece, Ashley Vellenga Cousins, Mike Polzin, Lynn Polzin, Dan Polzin. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Joe Polzin; Sister, Grace Polzin; Uncle, Dean Polzin; Niece, Nikki Bauer.
