John E. Poole

John E. Poole found peace on November 18, 2022 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy. Loving dad of Ryan and Erin (Mo) and stepdad of Tony and Megan. Proud papa of Joey, Nima and Vada. Dear brother of Susan, Tommy and Eddie. Dearest Uncle Johnny of Heather and great uncle of Olyvia and Madelyn. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Patricia Poole. John will be missed by many family members and friends.
John was a long time member of the American Legion Bell Telephone Post 427. He was a retiree from AT&T after 42 years. John most enjoyed traveling, dining out and spending time at the lake condo with family.
The Poole family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Julie Johnson for giving John an extra three wonderful years - you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Max A Sass & Sons Funeral Home – Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Loomis Rd, Franklin) on Wednesday, November 30, from 10:00am until the time of memorial service at 11:00am. Military Honors to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation (SCA).
