Dear Barb, Thinking if you, Jeff, Mark and their families. Such great memories of living on Captain Eager Drive (Geraldine Circle!) for 6 years, plus many more after we all moved. One fun one was of John, laughing because we paid more for our lot with trees. He'd sit there in your yard with his scotch, enjoying our trees, smiling as we had to rake the leaves. It was a great neighborhood!
I'm glad he is not suffering anymore.
Sending you all love, with sympathy and prayers.

Friends of ours 46 years, John would always greet you with a smile, and joke and a hearty laugh. He always make you feel special and welcomed. We met when he and Barbara were newly weds and moved to Captain Eager Drive. Our home was the first one built and we were the first to move in. John would come every weekend to check on his house which was being built. That is how we met. John would ask us questions about what we had in our home and ask us about the construction taking place in his. Later John would bring his wife Barbara to meet us. A lovely soft spoken nurse. From all the way back then until now we've had a lot of good times and happy memories.

I remember growing up on Capt. Eager with John Mr. Railsback as I called him back then, across the street. He was always fun, full of jokes and playful teasing. Later on, as I grew older, I remember babysitting his boys, Hoozie and Pudgy. My sympathies go to all of you on such a tremendous loss. He was a good guy and the perfect balance to his soft spoken wife. Thinking of you all in the difficult days ahead.
