John was a 1968 graduate of Penn High School. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He also especially loved his dogs.
There will be a private family service and he will be laid to rest in Silver Brook Cemetery in Niles, MI.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
