Dr. Riddle was my pediatrician, my family physician, and a good friend to my entire family through the years (especially my dad). For a few years we even sang in the church choir together. He was ageless, and I thought he would be around forever to care for us. Dr. John Riddle was an inspiration to me, and I will miss him very much.

Dr. Riddle was our family physician for many years. He will be remembered as a gentle man who always had a kind word. I also had the privilege of attending school with John for many years which bring back fun memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We were saddened to read Dr. Riddle's obituary in this morning's paper. He was our family physician for many years when we lived in the Baseline Road area, and, he truly saved the life of our son on one occasion when he was wasp stung and had an acute allergic reaction. My husband, Olen, worked at the VA Hospital with Mickey, an excellent nurse, and John III was my favorite student at Roper's school. Our sympathy is extended to both of you at this difficult time.

Dr. Riddle was my doctor from the time I was three up until he retired when I was 17. He was an outstanding physician, and friend. There wasn't anything I couldn't talk to him about and he always knew what to do, no matter how sick I was. He will always be remembered and loved and we will see him again.

I work with a charitable Christian medical clinic that now occupies the former Cloverdale Clinic building where Dr. Riddle served SW Little Rock for around 40 years. He was the kind of loving, gentle man you can grow to love in a very short time. I've only known him since last summer, but in that short time, I have come to love and admire him. I'll miss him, too.

I have wonderful memories of Dr. Riddle. He was my family physician for over forty years and always took great care of me and my family, after I was married. I also had the pleasure of working for him. He was a good man with a kind heart and I will miss him as will the community he cared so much about. May God help you through this time of sorrow. To the family of Dr. Riddle, my thoughts and prayers are with you always. I am only 23, but I remember Dr. Riddle from when I was a little girl. I grew up in the same neighborhood he lived in and my mom, Brenda, worked for him many years ago. He has helped me and my family in so many ways that we will never forget. Dr. Riddle went beyond the call of being a doctor.... he was truly a friend to all!! He was such a remarkable person and one who will be greatly missed by myself and anyone who had the good fortune of knowing this wonderful man. I love and miss you Dr. Riddle!!!

Love,

Tiffany

I met Dr. Riddle when he and Dr. Roy Harrison came to Ark. Children's Hospital as residents in the early 1960's. I remember both of them with fondness. I only saw Dr. John a few times since then and wish it could have been more.

My sympathy to the family.

Dr. Riddle really did great things for me as well as for my whole family. When I first got really sick when I was little, he was right there and made sure everything was taken care of. He was there throughout the whole, I would say, of my hospital stay. He had an invested interst in the welfare of his patients. He had a special bond with all his patients. That is what made him a great doctor. My prayers are with his family during your time of need.

Greatly will he be missed. John was our doctor for 30 years or more and we loved him as a friend. He always took time with us to explain what every we didn't understand.

Always enjoyed talking gardening & hunting with him, just saw him a few months ago and he was proudly doing a do it yourself project for or with his son.

We express your loss as ours also and may God be with each family member during this time. Remember all the good times.
