John C. Ringhoffer, 66, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at home after a five year bout with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia S. (Stanley) Ringhoffer, with whom he shared 39 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on 17 June, 1958. John was the son of George L. Ringhoffer, Jr. and Betty Jane Ringhoffer of Hellertown, Pennsylvania.
John graduated from Penn State University in 1982 and had a 40 year career in Logistics and Management. John was the best husband, father and Papa a person could ever asked for. His dedication to family came straight from the heart. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. John's lifelong passion involved two wheels only whether that be teaching others how to ride motorcycles, completely rebuilding one of his many BMW classics, or adventurous riding that would often lead him off the beaten path. He was a talented motorcycle safety instructor who enjoyed helping others learn how to ride. His legacy will continue to live on through every rider he touched in such a niched and caring community, including his daughter and two granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, David Lee Ringhoffer and two brothers, Gary Lee Ringhoffer and George David Ringhoffer. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ringhoffer; his daughter, Jade Ringhoffer Durkan and son-in-law, Sean M. Durkan and his three grandchildren: Cailyn, Mckenna and Callum John.
John requested that no formal funeral be held. His ashes will be spread by his family at his most favorite motorcycle riding roads along with his son's.
As a close friend said, "Rest easy, John. May your final ride be filled with endless curves and open highways.
