John Kevin Robertson, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 7, 2024, in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was born on March 20, 1958, in Mineola, New York. John lived a fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories and inspiring those who knew him.
With an unwavering commitment, John had a very successful career in the Finance Industry for over 30 years. His dedication and hard work served as a shining example to his colleagues and aspiring professionals alike.
Beyond his professional life, John found immense joy in his personal interests. He embraced his social life wholeheartedly, enjoying the company of his loved ones. He had a deep love for golf, fishing, and traveling, which enabled him to explore new places and create unforgettable memories. An avid sports fan, John particularly cherished his devotion to the New York Mets baseball team. And during his "Budweiser Time," John found solace and relaxation in the simple pleasures of life.
Above all else, John held a special place in his heart for his children. He showered them with love, guidance, and support, always being there for them in times of need. His son, Patrick Robertson, of Arlington, Virginia, and his daughter, Emily Robertson, of Oxford, England, were the lights of his life. John's legacy lives on through them, as they carry forward his values and teachings.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Asa Robertson and Mary O'Shea Robertson, his loving wife of 22 years, Christine Robertson, two brothers, Joseph and Dennis, and two sisters, Barbara and Peggy. Though they are no longer with us, their memory will forever remain alive in our hearts.
Surviving family and friends include his four brothers, Thomas, Jimmy, Kenny, and Donald, as well as his sister, Susie. Additionally, John leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who were dear to him.
Services to honor John's life will be held on Friday 10AM at St. Joseph's Church in Oradell, New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday and Thursday times to be determined.
As we bid farewell to John Kevin Robertson, let us remember the light he brought into our lives. His determination, love, and zest for life will continue to inspire us. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the beautiful memories we shared with him.

My condolences to all. Remember all the fun and laughter at the block parties and neighborhood gatherings. We were always trying to untangle Cooper and Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. And remember you will always have a home on first and third.

Mary, Steve, Mike and Cat Lang.

I will remember John's humor and laughter at the yearly block parties. Stopping to chat with everyone. And trying to wrangle in Cooper! He will be missed.
