John George Robertson

John George Robertson, 67, of Simpsonville, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Born in Toronto, Canada, he was a son of the late John Edward Robertson and Joan Monaghan Robertson.

John was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus 8182. John loved spending time relaxing at both the beach and the lake with his family and friends. He also enjoyed the serenity he found while camping and hiking in the great outdoors. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

John is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Susan K. Robertson; two daughters, Amanda Foley (David) and Jenna Robertson; two sisters, Lyse Ann Clark (Chris) and Brenda Box (Dan); three brothers, Mark Robertson (Sandy), Paul Robertson, and Bruce Robertson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Vigil and Rosary on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by a time of visitation until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Following the Mass, a luncheon will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Students for Life of America.
