Jonathan Ray Stone

Jonathan Ray Stone, 53, beloved husband of Paige Stone, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Luther and Mary Jane Royster Stone.

Jonathan was a longtime member of Overcome Church and dedicated over 25 years of his life working as a truck driver with G & P Trucking. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Clemson football, but above all else, Jonathan cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered as a man of strong character, deep family values, and an unwavering work ethic.

Jonathan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Forrest Stone (Sarah); his daughter, Bailey Holtzclaw; his son, Brandon Holtzclaw; two granddaughters, Georgia Grace and Bristol Mae; his beloved dogs, Murphee and Olaf; as well as many other dear family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Overcome Church, 6914 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
