Rocky M. Howard, 63, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence. A lifelong native of Greenville, Rocky was raised and loved by Wister and Alice Curry, whom he considered his parents.

Rocky was employed by Walmart, where he met many people and was known for brightening their day with his warm personality and humor. He loved life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching television, cheering on his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and never missed an opportunity to talk Steeler football. He loved fishing, trips to the beach, singing, and listening to music. A proud man of Scottish heritage, Rocky carried that pride with him throughout his life.

Known for his quick wit and playful spirit, Rocky was a true jokester who loved making people laugh. He had a special love for wrestling and could always be found watching it every Friday night - often convincing Glenna to watch along with him.

Above all else, Rocky loved his family. They were his greatest joy and the center of his world. His love, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by significant other, Glenna Berry and her children, whom he treated as if they were his own children and grandchildren, Serena Berry (Ryan Long) and her daughter, Kiska, Chelsea Berry and her son, Stanley Booth, Jr., and daughter Haley Booth.; brother, Bobby Norris (Susan); two sisters, Betty Pepper (Dwight) and Anita King; brother-in-law, Sonny Burgess; six nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Felix Norris and two sisters, Addie Burgess and Opal Ramsey.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, follow by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery West.
