John Paul Ryan, Jr., 86, a life long resident of Las Cruces a cofounder of High noon soccer league passed away in Dickinson, Texas, on September 11, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1938 at Clark Airfield Manilla in the Philippines to parents, John Paul Ryan, Sr. and Anna Marie (Brennan) Ryan. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. John had a career as an electrical engineer working for Lockheed Martin in the aerospace industry before retirement. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Margaret Sullivan Ryan, and son, David M. Ryan. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons John P. Ryan III and wife, Ellen, Charles Ryan and wife, Tammy and David Ryan and wife, Shalmarie; grandchildren, Jacquelyn M. Ryan, Jospeh M. Ryan, Megan N. Ryan, Haley M. Ryan, Michael W. Cox and Wife, Tiffany, Kristen Turner and husband, Bill, Eric W. Thompson, Andrew D. Thompson, John P. Ryan, IV., Tea V. Ryan and David M. Ryan and great-grandchildren, Riley M. Cox, Kenneth N. Turner, Matthew T. Turner, Abygail F.M. Turner, Vera Ryan and Blake Ryan.
