John C Sabeno

John Sabeno, age 77 of Bethpage, NY passed away on January 4, 2025. He was born in Brooklyn NY in 1947 to Anne and John and raised in Elmont, NY. He graduated from Sewanhaka High School. He received a degree in Police Science from Farmingdale College and subsequently a degree in Business Administration from New Haven College.
He joined the United States Army National Guard and worked in the business field for several years before beginning a long career with the United States Postal Service.
He is predeceased by his Wife Lynn and Son Thomas. He is survived by his three daughters Tracy, Jill and Kim, their spouses Pat, Rob, and Dave and seven grandchildren Francesca, Jake, Giancarlo, Siena, Luca, Kenzley and Bryden.
Our father was a hardworking man, who took pride in supporting his family. He enjoyed listening to music, watching sports (Go Giants, Yankees, Rangers & Knicks), playing the slots, but mostly spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. We will miss his laughter, easy going personality, kindness, loving heart, great smile and warm hugs. It truly has been a wonderful life with him in it. His memory will live on in those of us who knew him and every Frank or Perry song we hear will bring a smile to us. Until we meet again, keep on doing the pocket dance!
