Sorry for your loss, Sue, and to Rick and your family who have lost a commendable gentleman. Given his age, there must be endless memories to be savored.

Our deepest condolences from my family to the Sauer family.
Uncle Bob, as we called him, was an important part of my life. I always looked forward to Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob's arriving with the fifth wheel, to the annual Memorial Day camping in Chetek. It was always impressive how he could maneuver that rig into their spot.
When they would visit us at the family home, Uncle Bob would always bring me American Commemorative stamps. Which I still have today. Every one of those stamps were a lesson in American History and they taught me a lot!
Thank you, Uncle Bob, for kindness, generosity and cheers to your 98 years!

Uncle "Bob", as he will always be known to me, will be missed but he lives on in our memories. Many fond memories.
I remember visiting Bob & Eva's in Rockford as a child and begging him to show me his trains. Always enjoyed time spent with them. He had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel welcomed.
My sincere condolences to the family and prayers for God's peace during a difficult time.

So sorry for your loss... age does not matter! He was your dad! I remember him most from the church ice cream socials! He was always a happy smiling and friendly man! I sure hope his last days were as good as his young years! I know he missed the love of his life! They are together again!

My sincere condolences to the family.
Uncle Bob, as I called him, had an important impact on my life growing up. I was always looked forward to seeing Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob pulling in with their fifth-wheel for the annual Memorial Day camping in Chetek. I was always in awe as to how he could maneuver that ring into that small area. And when they would visit at our family house, he would always bring me American Commemorative stamps. Thank you Uncle Bob and Cheers to your 98 years!

Such a remarkable life! No matter how long, though, we are never ready to say good bye to a loved one. Sue, you will be in our thoughts and prayers
