John was born and raised in Boston and spent much of his life working in the construction industry before relocating to Florida. In 2018, he pursued his passion for small engine repair and started a business fixing lawn mowers. It was during this time he earned the nickname "Mower Man" and met his fiancée, Teresa.
John had a deep love of music and a gift for storytelling. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, always ready to share a wild story or lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Posey of Lake City, FL; his daughter, Nicole Saunders, and fiancé, Mark Tiernan, also of Lake City, FL; his brothers, Walter Saunders and wife Sherry Burris of Lake City, FL, and William Saunders and wife Patricia of Connecticut; his sisters, Loretta Ross (Robert) of Rochester, NY, and Susan Maniscalco of Boston; as well as several nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
