John Steven Schneider passed from this world unexpectedly on November 5, 2025. John was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 25, 1941 and lived the majority of his life in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1959. He was a military veteran and served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966.
John was an avid reader. In a sense, it could be said that books were is friends and provided him with much enjoyment over the years. His passion for books led him to become self employed as a bookseller who dealt mainly in vintage, rare, and collectable books. History, politics and sports were also among his interests. He was a fan of the Badgers, Bucks, Brewers and Packers.
John took very good care of his parents in the later years of their lives. He was with them until the end. John enjoyed the simple things in life and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
John was proceeded in death by his father and mother, Peter and Alice Schneider. He is survived by two sisters, Karen (Mike) Quaintance, Charmaine (Clyde) Baumgart, and a brother, Dennis (Karen) Schneider.
We won't forget you. Rest in Peace.
