John T. Scott

John T. Scott, 66, of Swansea, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Francis Scott and the late Phyllis (Greatrex) Scott.

John attended Community Connection and enjoyed Special Olympics, bowling and roller skating.

He leaves his siblings: Barbara Sanson, of Swansea, Loretta Trowbridge and her husband Peter, of Somerset, Shirley Fortier, of Somerset, James Scott and his wife Milly, of Dighton, Paul Scott, of Fall River, Thomas Scott and his wife Deborah, of Taunton. John was predeceased by his sister Margaret Mendonca and her husband John.

Following a private cremation, his Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Avenue, Somerset, followed by a committal service at Nathan Slade Cemetery.
