Lorraine Fitzpatrick

Lorraine Fitzpatrick, 92, of Swansea, MA, passed away on January 4, 2026, shortly before her 93rd birthday.

She was the wife of the late William Fitzpatrick Sr. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Camille and Blanche (Bouthellier) Mandeville. She is survived by a brother, Ronald Mandeville, and had four sisters, Doris Bartle, Muriel Monast, Theresa Mandeville, and Lucille Bruce.

She was the mother of two sons and the mother-in-law to two daughters, William Fitzpatrick Jr. and his wife Patricia and Brian Fitzpatrick and his wife Lisa. Five Grandchildren and spouses along with five great grandchildren, Christopher, Kate, Emma, and Annie Fitzpatrick, Kerri Fitzpatrick Warner and Richard Warner, Jamie Fitzpatrick Beane and Matthew Beane, Kyla and Jason Beane, Craig Fitzpatrick, Megan Fitzpatrick Oliver, Jordan and Jensen Oliver.

Lorraine began a bakery career, mastering wedding cakes among other tasty pastries. Working for the Town of Swansea school department, she was an assistant cook at the time of her retirement. She was also an instructor for the Town of Swansea C.O.A. Osteoporosis Classes for 11 years and enjoyed playing Bingo and cards.

Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Calling Hours to be held at Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County St, Somerset on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 9:00 am from the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County St, Somerset with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
